Saudi Shoura officials meet Kyrgyz delegation

  • Kyrgyzstan has expressed its support of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ to host Expo 2030

RIYADH: Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, vice president of the Saudi Shoura Council, met on Sunday with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Al-Sulami welcomed Kulubaev and his delegation during their visit to the Kingdom to strengthen bilateral relations between ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and Kyrgyzstan in all areas.

He stressed the importance of exchanging parliamentary visits between the Shoura Council and the Kyrgyz parliament, and commended the constructive outcome of the visit of the Saudi-Kyrgyz Parliamentary Friendship Committee delegation in May 2022.

Al-Sulami noted the Kingdom’s efforts and initiatives to promote security and stability and consolidate peace in the region and the world.

He explained to Kulubaev and his delegation Saudi Vision 2030, its goals and the Kingdom’s comprehensive advancement, as well as the initiatives and programs announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the opportunities they provide for participating states.

Kulubaev stressed the deep-rooted relations between Kyrgyzstan and ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ; this year, Kyrgyzstan celebrates 30 years of its independence and 30 years of brotherly relations and strong ties between the two states.

He indicated the Kyrgyz government’s great interest in strengthening the relations between the two countries and praised the Kingdom’s efforts and initiatives to stand with Muslim countries and support them to achieve security, stability and development. 

He emphasized Kyrgyzstan’s support of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ to host Expo 2030.

The meeting addressed issues of common interest between the two countries, on the parliamentary level between the Shoura Council and the Kyrgyz parliament, and opportunities to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the council’s Saudi-Kyrgyz Parliamentary Friendship Committee and the Kyrgyz parliament.
